OK. We started off with a machine that I'd owned for about 28 years. I bought the car in 1980 and I'd driven it about 1000 miles per year for the past 35 years. The vehicle had approximately 49000 miles on it when purchased in 1980. Upon further inspection, it looked as though the right front had been damaged and overall the body was in need of being upgraded. The motor was designed to run off of high-test fuel and that went by the wayside many years before. It just didn't run the way I wanted it to perform. So, a motor rebuild was in order.
